Open Letter To Osteopathic Students And Practitioners

Howdy!

I am an Osteopathic Pediatrician with a strong interest in OMM. In my own search for a new Osteopathic manipulation table, the absence of a good source for quality Osteopathic tables prompted me to create OsteopathicTables.com, LLC and to become affiliated with Oakworks®, a manufacturer of high quality tables built in the U.S. and sold internationally.

For students and practitioners, our site features four folding table models. The BOSS™ table (used at the Olympics) is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The Wellspring™ table is very similar to the BOSS™ but is to be used primarily indoors. The Advanta™ table has a unique butterfly shape, narrower in the center than at the ends. It is smaller and is well suited for the shorter student. It weighs as little as 23 pounds.

These tables are constructed of tubular aluminum. For those who prefer the characteristics of hard wood, we feature the Aurora™ model, which is built with patented hinges to add support to the structure as weight is applied.

My goal is to offer to the Osteopathic community (Osteopathic students, practicing physicians, school labs, hospitals, etc) a wide range of tables from which to choose. Each person can select a table that meets their individual needs when considering their practice style, budget, and aesthetic preferences.

You may have seen our tables at the AAO Convocation. If you did not, visit our newly designed website at http://www.OsteopathicTables.com. There you can browse the different tables we feature for Osteopathic students and practitioners along with my comments about each one.

We also offer a choice of latex-free padding. Our firm foam padding and a semi-firm foam padding are the most commonly selected. Other paddings are available but not generally needed for OMM.

There is also a choice of upholstery fabrics and a wide choice of colors from which to choose. There is no added charge for selecting from the available palate of non standard colors.

We also offer accessories such as face-rests, carrying-cases and swivel stools-- to name just a few. We can usually provide anything from the Oakworks™ Web site at a discounted price to Osteopathic students.

If you need tables for your OMM labs, please visit the manufacturer's Web site at www.oakworks.com, then give me a call (602 993-7936) to discuss the selection of electric high-low tables or hard wood tables with adjustable leg length.
