We now offer several models with many colors and accessories from which to choose. Tables are made of strong aluminum or hardwood. Oakworks® offers semi firm, latex free foam padding as well as an optional firm, latex free foam which on some tables is considered a custom option.

The ONE™27" Wide 73" Long
The new ONE™ table has been completely redesigned by Oakworks™. It is manufactured in the United States and shares many of the structural features found on our premium tables but at a substantially lower cost. The ONE™ is slightly heavier than our other tables and is equipped with its own 3” latex-free foam. You even have a choice of eight different TerraTouch™ fabric colors at no extra charge. Oakworks™ is so proud of this table that they include a limited lifetime warranty on its structure and a five year limited warranty on the TerraTouch™ fabric.

The BOSS™29" and 31" Wide 73" Long
This is the BOSS™ folding table, which can be used indoors or outdoors, on hard (wood or concrete) or soft (dirt or sand) surfaces. The BOSS™ is covered with Tufflex™ fabric with moisture resistant-stitching. With this fabric, I would recommend firm padding, which is an optional extra. It is also available with TerraTouch™ fabric and with semi-firm padding. The reinforced powder-coated aluminum frame and lacquered platform are resistant to dampness. Removable outdoor field feet are supplied at no additional charge. The BOSS™ is rated for a dynamic load of 600 pounds. The standard widths of the BOSS™ is 29" and 30". Unfortunately, the 27" width is no longer available. For OMM, I suggest ordering the similar 27" wide WELLSPRING™ table in its place. |
The WELLSPRING™27" Wide 73" Long
The Wellspring table was used at the Bejing Olympics. This is an ideal replacement for the BOSS table for those who prefer the narrower 27" width for OMM. Optional Field Feet can be ordered to facilitate use on grass and dirt. We now have a specially reduced price when the Wellspring Manipulation table is ordered with Firm foam and the new PVC free TerraTouch fabric. Tufflex fabric is still available for an additional fee. |
The ADVANTA™28"-21"-28" Wide 65" Long
The narrow center waist (21") of the table makes it easier for shorter physicians to get close to their patients without having to bend over excessively. Add-on inserts are available as an accessory to restore the width of the table if needed. The ADVANTA™ is rated for a dynamic load of 550 pounds. Because of its unique design and shorter length (65"), the ADVANTA™ is also the lightest of the tables-- weighing as little as 23 pounds. Note: Adding the Classic Face Rest will effectively increase the length of the table by up to 12". |
The AURORA™28" Wide 73" Long
Note: The Aurora™ pictured above does not show the open-end panel,which is included with all Osteopathic tables. This is a familiar-looking table-style made of hard wood. It is equipped for the Osteopathic profession with an open-end panel, which is not pictured here. The AURORA™ is rated for a dynamic load of 400 pounds. This table is a great choice for anyone who prefers the lower price and look of an elegant yet strong wooden table. |
The 27" wide WELLSPRING™ table is similar to the BOSS™ table in design and in price but can weigh less (approximately 29 pounds). It is rated for a dynamic load of 550 pounds.
This is an unusually designed table in the shape of a butterfly. It is narrow in the center and wider at the ends.

Usage Patterns
Your table selection should be based on your anticipated usage. Take into account your body size and strength and the amount of carrying you will be doing.
Weight
Oakworks® tables are among the lightest in the industry. It is important to note that the weights quoted for any table are approximate and can vary a bit, depending on the width of the table, the density and choice of foam and padding, etc.
Table Tops
The latex-free foam pads are available in several densities. The semi-firm 2 1/4" latex free pad weighs one or two pounds less than our 1½" firm pad and costs less. Both pads employ a multi-density foam system. All the Osteopathic tables we offer are covered with the softer, abrasion-resistant TerraTouch™ fabric. The BOSS™ table can be equipped with TerraTouch™or Tufflex™ at no extra charge. Tufflex™ is available for any other table with an additional fee.
All of our folding tables are now priced with the semi-firm top, which has become more popular as students and practitioners use more than HVLA in their treatment plan. It may also be more comfortable for some of your patients. Firm pad is available with an additional fee, and seems to work best when combined with the Tufflex™ fabric.
Accessories
If money is a significant limiting factor (isn't it always?), I would strongly suggest investing in the very best table you can afford. Purchase accessories later. That said, the most commonly chosen accessories are a carrying case and a face rest. (Note: The face rest can effectively increase the length of your table by up to 12".) A traditional rolling stool is also available at a student discounted price.
Stationary Tables
Oakworks® also offers stationary, heavier tables for your school, office, clinic or lab. Note that we offer wooden studio, office or lab tables that have ADJUSTABLE HEIGHTS.
